Even though this card is last generation pascal architecture, it’s a great budget choice, but if I were you, I wouldn’t pick it up for more than $165 (and don’t pick up the 3 GB variant of this card) because there are better options for a thicker wallet. With 6 GB of GDDR5, 1280 CUDA cores and a processor clock of 1708 Mhz (1506 Mhz on Gfx clock), 1080p Gaming is a breeze.

2. Nvidia Gtx 1070 – $250

A great option for a budget gamer, or even for Workstation work. This card WILL do 4K, but only at low/medium settings with scaling in newer AAA Titles, (This is only an Estimation from old benchmarks), and will do 3D rendering at a decent speed. This card has 8 GB of GDDR5, clocked at 8 GBps, 1920 CUDA cores and a processor clock of 1638 Mhz (1506 Mhz on Gfx clock), there is plenty of power for a budget power user.

1. AMD Radeon RX 580 8G Model – $199.99

Need more VRAM and good Performance at a good price? This is at the top of my list for good price and performance. having two variants, the 4 GB and 8 GB models, the 8 GB is the best value because of the higher clocks of 1256-1366 Mhz. if you are gaming at 1080p on the side, and doing workstation work mainly, this card is more than applicable.

Overall, these are the 3 GPU’s I personally reccomend
